Calvary Chapel Oxford began in January 2001 under the call and direction of the Holy Spirit. We are committed to expository Bible teaching through whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and uphold the principle that Christ will build His Church.

Through loving Christian fellowship we seek to stimulate one another towards righteousness, that we may live lives that are pleasing to God, and that bear witness to the saving grace of Christ, acknowledging that our highest goal is the glory of God.

Calvary Chapel Oxford is part of the Calvary Chapel Association (CCA) of over 2000 churches worldwide  which grew out of the ‘Jesus movement’ in California in the late 1960s. Calvary Chapel  is not a denomination, but a fellowship of independent churches who share a common doctrine and a distinct philosophy of ministry. In the UK, Calvary Chapel affiliated churches partner together under the banner “Calvary Chapel UK”.
